  6. Installation:
  7. -------------
  8. Just run the Setup program. This Tool generates GUID's in simpler method 
  9. than uusing the Microsoft GUID tool. It generates the GUID directily 
  10. into the Current Source File, at the current Cursor location.

  29. Using GenGuid
  30. -----------------------
  31. 1. After running the install, the next time you use DevStudio, go to the
  32. "Tools->Customize" menu Item, then slect the "Add-ins and Macro Files" Tab.
  33. In the list you should see the "GenGuid" item. Insure that it is checked.
  34.  
  35. 2. This will load the the tool and add a tool bar button. Just place this button on
  36. the tool bar where you wish it to be.

  38. 3. Move the I bar (insert cursor) to the place you want the GUID to
  39. be generated.

  41. 4. To use just press the GenGuid button on the toolbar.

  43. 5. Select the type of GUID you want.
  44.  
  45. 8. Press OK. It generates the source directly into your file at the 
  46. selected point.

  48. To Uninstall
  49. -----------------------
  50. 1. Be sure to uncheck the GenGuid in the "Tools->Customize->Module Lister"
  51. In DevStudio.
  52. 2. From the Control Panel, select Add/Remove Programs.
  53. 3. Select the listing for "GenGuid" and double click.
  54. 4. This will lead you thru the uninstall.
